Christmas Cookies!
20/12/2014
So. I may have got a little bit snap happy over these little beauties but am I going to apologise? Nope. I'm also pretty pleased (and slightly smug) to mention that they don't even taste half bad, probably owing to the extra million tbsp's of vanilla essence that Mikey added to them rather than any baking expertise on my behalf. However, I'm not proud to admit that at least six cookies perished in the baking process. Because Pinterest stopped me checking the time. Obviously.
I used this short and sweet recipe.

Here are a few images from a lovely morning shoot I did on Friday with Suuuusie. She is an incredible local singer (not just saying that - have a listen on YouTube here and see for yourself) who will be launching her EP at the Harlequin Theatre, Redhill on the 7th of February 2015. These pictures will be out and about around Reigate and Redhill promoting her gig so obviously I'm veeeery excited and honored to have been able to take them, yippee!
They were taken at a local golf course in the early morning so naturally I had to edit more than a few dog walkers out of the background. We also got heckled by some elderly golfers. Luckily Susie declined the serenading request - although it might have made for some interesting promoting pictures ha!
She's definitely worth a listen and a like on Facebook.

Birthday Bouquet.
27/11/2014
I can't believe it was my birthday almost a month ago now - time flies when you're in fourth year at university apparently! These flowers are from Mikey, my favourite colours from my favourite person.
God, finding time to even take pictures is proving difficult at the moment let alone finding hours to upload blog posts. I'm looking forward to finishing university in April when hopefully this blog will stop looking so sad and lonely. However, with Christmas on the way and my inability to resist photographing pretty lights and good food, I think we may be heading towards a mini end-of-year revival.

F + R Wedding Album
11/10/2014
It's not often that I get to see my photographs in any other form other than online or on my computer. I don't even have a portfolio to my name and have only ever printed my own pictures on everyday paper with the simple intent to show my biggest fan (my Mum) and my second biggest fan (my Dad). So it was a very, very very exciting moment when, after almost a month of waiting, a huge package was delivered to my door this morning. Inside? Only the most beautifully crafted book I have ever had the pleasure of being in the presence of filled to the brim with photographs from Fay and Rick's wedding in early September.
The book is from Booked Images and I simply couldn't recommend their service more, I'd recommend it more than Cadbury Creme Eggs. No lie. (Okay, maybe I'm lying a little bit but I would recommend it more than Crunchie - no contest). It might cost an arm and a leg but, oof, I think I'd rather be limbless.
Bedroom.
08/09/2014
Because I can't seem to stick to anything for too long (macaron obsession not included), my bedroom took the wrath and got a much un-needed make over. Said make over basically consisted of throwing out 75% of my stuff and then cursing myself for not being hard skinned enough to throw out another 20% that is now lying under my bed. I painted my walls white, I made my boyfriend whack up a new shelf, I finally got my hands on a clothing rail (Ikea, you darl) and now until the foreseeable future I have undertaken the difficult task of trying to live a life of clutter-free goodness. Partly because I got rid of the majority of my storage space with the addition of a saucy new double bed (SO worth it), and also partly because Pinterest. Just pinterest.

These two tied the knot yesterday in St Mary's Church, Reigate followed by the most idyllic reception at a local private girls school. I'm talking canapés, french windows, champagne, live music and a cake that had 6lbs, yes 6lbs, of chocolate in it.
A few more pictures are here and the rest are soon to follow. Judging by the amount of hours I've spent today in front of my computer drinking tea (currently 13 hours and counting..!!) they should be done and dusted pretty soon and ready for your viewing pleasure :)

Tom and Joanna - Wedding Bells!
16/08/2014
I had the absolute pleasure of being the wedding photographer for these two very lovely people a few weeks ago. The ceremony was in a local church in my town and followed by some of the most delicious cakes I've ever tasted outside the church in the sun before a trip up to Reigate Hill to shoot some gorgeous portraits of the newly married couple! After Jo got down on all fours and scrambled underneath a barbed wire fence in full wedding attire (which was definitely worth the stress for the beautiful shot it got!), we headed over to the reception at another local church venue where the gorgeous table set up included all the train stations in the UK that held special memories for them both. The evening was spent dancing the night away to a traditional Scottish ceilidh..which was surprisingly energetic and my legs were definitely feeling a little sore the next day - as I'm sure some of the guests heads were too! My favourite part of the day? The sparkler send off at 10pm. What an absolutely beautiful way to end one of the most lovely weddings I've had the pleasure to be a part of. Congratulations Joanna and Tom and I wish you both all the happiness in the world (and I am so ridiculously jealous of your beautiful little flat!!!)
